Blessing of the Backpacks | Saturday, August 11
The 10th Annual Blessing of the Backpacks will be held on Saturday, August 11 from 4PM – 7PM in Shippensburg.
Many Shippensburg churches, local organizations and non-profits will come together at Memorial Lutheran Church (corner of Orange and Penn Streets) to provide school supplies for area students. All events and activities are FREE including dinner! Local children receive items such as lunch boxes, backpacks, gym bags, water bottles, lunch snacks, pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, folders, markers/colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, and rulers as carnival game prizes & door prizes.
