The East Coast Exotic Animal Rescue is offering the public FREE Admission on its season opening weekend. On May 6 and 7, visit the animal sanctuary from 11AM to 5PM. In addition to their 40 species of animals (carnivores, birds, reptiles), there will be games, face painting, food, and educational presentations. Llamas, alpacas, deer, goats, ducks can be fed through a fence with approved feed. Peanuts and feed are sold at the rescue.
This exotic animal rescue is a 501c3 Non Profit animal sanctuary and not a zoo. They offer forever homes to exotic animals who have been displaced due to the pet trade, lab retiring, old age, and zoo surplus.
Their regular business hours are 11AM to 5PM Saturday & Sundays through October. Admission is normally $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12 and under 2 is free.
