Join the Friends of Kings Gap for a Plant Sale on Saturday, May 13, from 10AM to 4PM and Sunday, May 14 from Noon to 4PM. Sale includes native plants (perennials, fern, shrubs and trees). Edible trees, shrubs and perennials will also be available.
Spring Garden Days will feature garden tours, programs on butterfly gardening and bee basics, free kids activities and more. A food stand will be available for home-made chicken corn soup, hot dogs, snacks and drinks.
Perennial Gardens Nursery from New Bloomfield and The Happy Bee Keeper from Carlisle will be onsite as well.
The sale is at Kings Gap Environmental Education Center, 500 Kings Gap Road, Carlisle.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of Kings Gap. The Friends of Kings Gap is a non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers working to support, protect, and enhance Kings Gap State Park and its programs.
