Demolition Derby at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds
The Shippensburg Demolition Derby will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 7:30 PM. The annual event at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds features local drivers who deliberately ram their vehicles into one another. The last driver whose vehicle is still operational is awarded the victory.
Classes include full size, compact, 6 cylinders, and a new mini-van class this year.
Admission to the demolition derby is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 7 – 11, and free for children under six.
Come hungry! Food options include Smith’s bbq chicken, soft pretzels, funnel cakes, FFA ice cream, and the Shippensburg Midget Football stand with burgers, hot dogs, hot sausage, chicken and fish sandwiches, chicken strips, fresh cut fries, Pepsi products, and fried Oreos.
Don’t forget your lawn chairs or blankets.
