Field of Sunflowers outside of Chambersburg

8/29/16 UPDATE:  The Sunflower Field is in Full Bloom!

There is a Sunflower Field just outside of Chambersburg again this year. Location is the corner of New Franklin Road and Helman Road. The sunflowers should be in full bloom in September!  Each year, this sunflower field becomes a local tourist attraction for passers-by.

This photo was taken on August 4th.  As they start blooming, please remember to pull over safety as you view these flowers.  You are welcome to take photos but the farmers request no picking the sunflowers.

In the past, the sunflowers have been turn into birdseed when they turn brown.
