Primanti Bros. is ‘Coming Soon’ to Chambersburg Crossing

Update: According to the notice appearing in the window, Primanti Corporation is in the process of transferring the Fran’s Inn (107 N. Franklin Street, Chambersburg) liquor license. As of October 10, the double transfer is pending on the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Website.

On Facebook, Fran’s Inn describes itself as “Just a little corner bar that’s been around for 30+ years.” The closing date for Fran’s Inn has not been announced.

Primanti Bros. plans to expand to Chambersburg, Franklin County.

On July 8, Bennett Williams announced on social media that the Pittsburgh-based chain had just leased 4,800 square footage at Chambersburg Crossing. Primanti Bros. will occupy the former TGI Friday’s location at 983 Norland Avenue. However, exactly when it will open remains uncertain.

Primanti Bros. classic menu items include the “Almost Famous” sandwich that features grilled meat, melted cheese, tomato slices, homemade sweet-and-sour slaw, and French fries. Primanti Bros. also offers burgers, wings, and pizza.
