Memorial Day Parade Set for May 25 in Downtown Shippensburg
The Joint Veterans Council of Shippensburg will host the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in downtown Shippensburg. Community members are invited to line the streets and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while enjoying a strong lineup of veterans organizations, marching bands, community groups, emergency responders, and local royalty.

Traffic & Road Closure Information
- King Street will close at 12:00 PM from King & Earl Streets to Fayette Street for the Town Band concert and Branch Bridge Service.
- At 1:00 PM, King Street will close from Washington Street to Morris Street until approximately 3:00 PM.
- No cross traffic will be permitted during parade activities.
- Motorists are encouraged to use Burd Street or Orange Street to travel through town.
- If cones or barricades are in place, please do not move or drive around them. They are there for public safety.
- The parade will end at Spring Street in front of the VFW, rather than continuing to Morris Street as in previous years.
