Manic Monday Pop-Up Farmers Market Coming to Downtown Shippensburg

Shoppers will have a one-day opportunity to shop local during the Manic Monday Pop-Up Farmers Market, taking place Monday, Aug. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Library Square, 73 W. King St.

The special one-time event, organized by Downtown Ship & Beyond, will bring together 15+ local vendors and food trucks for an evening of fresh food, locally produced goods, and community gathering in downtown Shippensburg.

Visitors can shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, farm-raised meats, artisan and farmstead cheeses, local honey, beeswax candles, baked goods, gourmet popcorn, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, jams, jellies, juices, granola, pasta, pancake mix, homemade pet treats, and other locally made products.

Those looking for dinner can enjoy food from Jem’s Joint and Soxy’s LLC, which will offer a variety of menu items including burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, tacos, kebabs, fresh-cut fries, and more.

The event is intended to showcase local farms, food producers, and small businesses while encouraging residents and visitors to spend an evening in downtown Shippensburg.

The Manic Monday Pop-Up Farmers Market will be held at Library Square, adjacent to the Coy Public Library. Downtown Ship & Beyond extends its appreciation to the Coy Public Library for making Library Square available for the event.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
