Shippensburg Touch A Truck Returns for a Day of Family Fun and Community Connection
The Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the return of Touch‑A‑Truck on May 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in downtown Shippensburg, made possible through the generous support of local sponsors and community partners.
This free, family‑friendly event invites children to explore and interact with the vehicles that keep our region moving. The first hour, 10:00–11:00 AM, will be a sensory‑friendly hour designed for children with autism or sensory sensitivities.
This year’s Touch‑A‑Truck is presented with major support from WellSpan Health, Volvo, and Members 1st Federal Credit Union, whose commitment to community engagement helps ensure this event remains accessible to all families.
In addition, the Chamber extends its appreciation to our community partners: Adams Electric, US Express, Carl Cramer Insurance, Creative Engraving & Apparel, Christine Lautenslager – Coldwell Banker Realty, Guardian Mosquito and Tick Control, Negley’s Water and Drilling, and Topp Home. Their participation and collaboration help bring vehicles, demonstrations, and hands‑on experiences to life for children across the region.

Families can expect fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment, utility trucks, and more, along with opportunities to meet the professionals who operate them.
