Fall Furnace Fest at Pine Grove Furnace State Park
Pine Grove Furnace State Park will host its annual Fall Furnace Fest on Saturday, October 18 from 11 AM to 7 PM and Sunday, October 19 from 11 AM to 4 PM.
The two-day event will feature:

Live music performances throughout the weekend

Craft and food vendors

Hayrides provided by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR)

Pumpkin carving, scarecrow making, apple cider pressing, and children’s activities

Historical demonstrations including blacksmithing, charcoal making, broom making, and candle dipping

Special visits from Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl
On Saturday evening, the Pumpkin Parade begins at 6:15 PM, followed at 6:45 PM by the telling of the “Legend of the Hairy Hand.” During the story, a float carrying hundreds of glowing jack-o-lanterns will cross Fuller Lake.
The festival is organized by the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace in partnership with DCNR.
Pine Grove Furnace State Park is located at 1100 Pine Grove Road, Gardners. The rain or shine event is held in the Furnace Stack and Fuller Lake Day Use Areas.
