Ballroom With A Twist will be at the Luhrs Performing Arts Center at Shippensburg University on Saturday, June 13 at 8 PM.  Tickets are now half-price for all seats through June 13!  Regularly priced at $59, $55, $45 and $39, now $29.50, $27.50, $22.50 and $19.50.  Tickets will automatically appear at the discounted rate during your online purchase.  Purchase online at  H. First Shippensburg Fairgrounds Truck & Tractor Pull of the season is Saturday, June 13, 2015 – 7:00 PM Admission: $10.00 – Children: $5.00 (under 12)  6,000# – Classic Modified Tractors;
4,500# – Modified Small Block 4×4 Trucks; 7,700# – Light Limited Turbo Tractors; 7,800# – Modified Tractors; 8,000# – 4×4 Street Diesel Trucks

The 29th annual Garden Tour, sponsored by Christ United Methodist Church, will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14. The self-guided tour features a wide variety of garden settings in six local gardens, a plant sale, and refreshments. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for school-aged children.  Tickets can be purchased at any garden site (9254 Possum Hollow Road, Shippensburg, 13 N. Morris St., Shippensburg, Winsome Farm, 444 Nealy Road, Newville, 602 Baltimore Road, Shippensburg, 621 Glen St., Shippensburg, and 632 Glen St., Shippensburg) or at Christ UMC.

Beyond Shippensburg

Trickling Springs Creamery, 2330 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Chambersburg is having an Open House on Saturday, June 13, from 10 am- 2 pm.  Enjoy a tour of the Creamery, cheese sampling, free freshly churned Ice Cream, and free cotton candy.  In addition, there will be door prizes, baby farm animals, and Chicken BBQ for sale.

Tim Franklin from Pillow Army will kick off the Second Saturdays – Concerts in the Park series on June 13th at Chambers Fort Park (located behind Main Street Deli) in Chambersburg beginning at 5 pm.  Bring a blanket or chairs.  A free showing of Paddington as part of the Downtown Summer Movie Series will begin at dusk.

The Mont Alto Annual Carnival will begin this weekend June 12, 2015 and end June 20, 2015. Fireworks will be held on Friday June 19th with a rain date of the 20th. Penn Wood Amusements is running the rides. The carnival will include 10 cent Bingo every night, other games and plenty of food. Live entertainment is booked for every night of the carnival. The carnival is held at the Mont Alto Fire Company Carnival Grounds, off of Route 997.

Marion Festival will be held on Saturday, June 13th.  Food, Games, Rides.   Kitchen Opens at 4:30 P.M. Free entertainment.

Cumberland Drive-In Theatre, 3290 Ritner Highway, Newville  First Feature: Jurassic World (PG-13) Second Feature: Pitch Perfect 2 (PG-13)  Gates open at 7 p.m. First Feature begins at approximately 9:00 p.m.

5th Annual Chalk It Up Event, a chalk art event in downtown Hanover for all ages will be held June 13th from 10 am – 4 pm. Participants will create their own works of art on sidewalk slabs. Judges will choose a favorite and cash prizes will be awarded to the winner.  In addition Fun & Family Art Company will be offering a free art program using oil pastels from 11am-2pm at the Hanover Area Arts Guild and Gallery, 32 Carlisle St, Hanover, PA 17350.

North Square Farmers Market, 50 N. Main Street, Saturday, June 13th from 8 a.m. to noon.  Over twenty local vendors will offer local produce as well as cheeses, breads, fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, handmade soaps, & MORE. Children ages 3 -12 can sign up for POP (Power of Produce) Club.  Members receive $2 in tokens per market visit to be used on produce or vegetable plants!  It is also Health & Fitness Day.  Results Fitness will be on hand doing body composition and BMI.  Free Qigong with Elizabeth (by the water at Ft. chambers park) – Meet at the market at 8:00 AM. Jazzercise in the market at 9am.  Dave Welch & Friends jam at 10am.  POP Club/Healthy Communities Partnership fitness circuit for kids!

Michael’s Kids Club is every Saturday from 10 am – Noon for ages 3 and up. For $2 your child can make a seasonal craft for 30 minutes while you shop!  On Saturday, June 13th the children will be making a Father’s Day Duck Tape Frame. Sign up at Classes & Events | Michaels Stores.

Lowe’s Build & Grow is having their next Build & Grow event on Saturday, June 13th at 10 am.  If you have registered already (currently full) your child can build Iron Man’s Avenjet.

$1.00 Movies on Tuesday & Wednesday during Regal Summer Movie Express has begun! Regal Carlisle Commons Stadium 8 is located at 250 Noble Blvd, Carlisle, PA.

Summer Kid Series will begin June 18, 2015 and run every Thursday through August 20th, at Carmike Cinema 7, Chambersburg Mall.  A fun, family-friendly movie will be featured at 10:00 AM. Admission is just $4 and is an all inclusive package that covers movie ticket, drink, & popcorn!
