North Square Farmers Market will host Kid Vendor Day on August 8, 2015
North Square Farmers Market, 50 N. Main Street, Chambersburg happens every Saturday now through October 17th from 8 am – noon. Over twenty local vendors offer local produce as well as cheeses, breads, fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, handmade soaps, & MORE. Free parking at the Courthouse Lot behind the market. Rain or shine.
On August 8th, children will have the opportunity to be a vendor from 8am – 12pm. There is a $5 fee to sell. Find the link to print an application HERE.
• Kid Vendors must be under the age of 18.
• Kid Vendors can ONLY sell what they’ve handmade or home-grown.
• Approved applicants under 16 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult.
• Baked goods permissible only with a Borough health license.
This market also hosts a neat program for kids! Children ages 3 -12 can sign up for POP (Power of Produce) Club. Members receive $2 in tokens per market visit to be used on produce or vegetable plants! Membership also includes healthy lifestyle workshops twice a month. Membership in POP Club is FREE but you must sign up at the POP stand. The program is run by Healthy Communities Partnership.
