The Shippensburg Community Fair is going on now through July 25th. The fair features homemade food prepared by local non-profit organizations, entertainment, livestock displays and competitions, home products exhibits, tractor pulls, horse shows, and lots of rides and games!  General admission to the Shippensburg Community Fair is free, and parking is just $5. The fairgrounds is located at 10131 Possum Hollow Road.

12th Annual Old-Fashioned CornFest will be held Sunday, July 26th at Historic Round Barn and Farm Market, 298 Cashtown Road, Biglerville, PA. Great food and entertainment for the entire family! Enjoy Corn Roasted in the husk over an wood fire, BBQ Chicken, Pulled Pork, Craft Beer Samples, Peach Sundaes, Slushies, and MORE!  Food will begin at 11:30AM, Entertainment will begin at 12PM.  Music will be provided by Back Creek Valley BoysGames and Children Activities. Rain or Shine.

The World of Outlaws Summer Nationals will be held Friday July 24th and Saturday July 25th at Williams Grove Speedway, 1 Speedway Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is the premier winged sprint car series in the world. The gates open at 5:00 pm and racing gets underway at 7:30 pm.  Gate admission $30, Youth $15, Kids 12 and under FREE.

Handmade crafts, festival food and authentic German bands fill Downtown Hanover on Saturday July 25th, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m for Dutch Festival! The Festival was founded to promote community awareness and pride in the town’s strong Pennsylvania Dutch heritage.

Wild Days Weekend at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park.  Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is located in Halifax and known for their open air safari ride.  They also have a smaller traditional zoo that features lions, bears, alligators, & tigers, petting zoo, and reptile house that houses animals such as large snakes, sloths, and various amphibians.  Saturday, July 25th 12 – 4 pm Animal Parade, Photo Ops with Baby Animals, Free Face Painting Sunday, July 26th 12 – 4 pm Animal Parade, Free Pony Rides

FREE concert in the park with the Shippensburg Town Band. Sunday night, July 26th 7 pm. Location: Shippensburg Memorial Park near the picnic pavilions. Bring your lawn chairs.

Lowe’s Build & Grow is having their next Build & Grow event on Saturday, July 25th at 10 am.  Bring your child to Lowe’s and they can build Hawkeye’s Quinjet.  This is part of the “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble” Summer series. It is a FREE event but you do need to register here (only Waynesboro still has openings).  All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids workshop apron, goggles, patch and more.

2nd Annual Utz Kids Summer Bash at Utz Outlet Store, 861 Carlisle St. Hanover, PA 17331 will be held on July 24th from 12:00-6:00pm! Open to the public and kids of all ages. Enjoy a FREE day of fun for kids to enjoy. Raffle prizes, Zumba, Critters to See & Touch, Fire trucks, Food, Kids games and activities!!

North Square Farmers Market, 50 N. Main Street, Saturday, July 25th from 8 a.m. to noon.  Over twenty local vendors will offer local produce as well as cheeses, breads, fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, handmade soaps, & MORE. Children ages 3 -12 can sign up for POP (Power of Produce) Club.  Members receive $2 in tokens per market visit to be used on produce or vegetable plant.

Jim’s Farmers Market, 244 Grant Street, Chambersburg will have Homemade Ice-cream on Saturday, July 25th starting at 10 am.  Market hours are Friday July 24, 2015 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday July 25, 2015 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Jim’s Farmers market offers Fresh meats, Local Produce, Baked Goods In an old fashion market environment which is open year round.

A Miniature Train rides the rails at Norlo Park, 3050 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville on Saturdays. It is open to riders of all ages. The train, complete with a cattle car and caboose, is FREE to ride on Saturdays weather permitting from 1 PM to 4 PM throughout Summer & Fall!

Cumberland Drive-In Theatre, 3290 Ritner Highway, Newville  Friday – Sunday July 24th – 26th First Feature Ant-Man (PG-13) 2nd Feature:  The Avengers: Age of Ultron (PG-13) Gates open at 7 p.m. First Feature begins at approximately 8:55 p.m.

Michael’s Kids Club is every Saturday from 10 am – Noon for ages 3 and up. For $2 your child can make a seasonal craft for 30 minutes while you shop!  On Saturday, July 25th the children will be making a Button Frame. Sign up at Classes & Events | Michaels Stores.

Totem Pole Playhouse, 9555 Golf Course Road, Fayetteville, PA, will present a FREE Children’s Theatre performance of The Tortoise and Hare Race Again at 10 a.m. every Saturday morning in July. This show is suitable for children of all ages.  Stay for a meet & greet after the show and FREE face painting!!
