Weis Reward Points Program Update

Weis has a new rewards program.  Now you can use 20 reward points as either 20 cents off per gallon of gas OR as a food reward by getting 5% off groceries.  This rewards program takes the place of the Senior Discount.

You can earn Weis Reward Points two ways.  Earn 10 Weis Reward Points for every $50 you spend on qualifying purchases in a single day.  In addition, you can pick 5 participating Weis Brand products & earn 10 rewards points.  There is no limit – you can buy as many Weis Brand items in one transaction as you would like!

Ship Saves headed out tonight to our local Weis in Shippensburg to test the “pick 5” option.  I purchased 45 Weis Brand items for a total of $54.02.  I received a total of 100 reward points!  I received 90 points because I purchased 9 sets of 5 Weis Brand items (10 points for each set of 5).  In addition,  I received 10 points because my total reached $50.  The 100 reward points would equal $1.00 off a gallon of gas (20 max gallons) or I could choose to receive the 5% food discount off my total bill a few times.

2 120ct. Napkins

5 24 oz Classic Sauces (traditional, marinara, tomato basil)

5 28 oz canned tomatoes (diced, petite diced, Italian diced, crushed)

2 paper towels

1 extra wide egg noodles

1 Potato classics (scalloped)

1 dozen eggs

1 38 oz ketchup

3 disposal cutlery (forks, spoons, assorted)

1 51 ct foam cups

2 42 ct. flushable wipes

3 frozen concentrate 100% Apple juice

1 32 fl. oz distilled white vinegar

2 18 oz barbecue sauce (sweet & tangy, sweet & savory)

1 32 oz confectioners  sugar

1 6 ct strawberry fruit bars

2 reclosable snack bags

1 8 oz. whipped topping

I used 6 store coupons in the Weis Spring/Summer 2016 Coupon Book to maximize the savings.

Here’s the math:  $54.02 – $20 in GAS = $34.02 or about 76 cents for each item!  Since my car does not hold 20 gallons, I will utilize a gas can for the remaining gallons.

Bottom line – Don’t forget to look for this tag as you shop at Weis!  It is an easy way to accumulate reward points!
