The Shippensburg Fair continues through July 29.  Food, entertainment, livestock exhibits, home products, tractor pulls, horse shows, rides, and games for all ages.  Show off your Greyhound Pride by wearing your Greyhound Spirit Wear to the Fair on Friday night!

Cancelled:  Friday, July 28th is the last Shippensburg Truck & Tractor Pull of the season.  7PM.  Free Admission.  $5 to park.  4,500# – 4×4 Modified Small Block Trucks; 7,700# – Light Limited Turbo; 2.5 Diesel 4×4 Trucks; 8,500# – Modified Turbo. 

Dollar General on Orrstown Road will celebrate the store’s official grand opening on Saturday, July 29 at 8AM with free prizes and special deals.


CCT’s STAGE Camp presents “Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.” live on-stage at the Capitol Theatre July 29. Come see what 60 kids can accomplish in just one week! Two shows only: 2PM and 7PM. General admission seating: $10/Children 12 & younger: free. Tickets available at the door (cash/check only) or here.

A Miniature Train rides the rails at Norlo Park, 3050 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville on Saturdays. It is open to riders of all ages. The train, complete with a cattle car and caboose, is FREE to ride on Saturdays weather permitting from 1 PM to 4 PM throughout Summer & Fall!

North Square Farmers Market, 50 N. Main Street, Saturday, July 29 from 8 AM to NoonChildren ages 3 -12 can sign up for POP (Power of Produce) Club.  Members receive $2 in tokens per market visit to be used on produce or vegetable plant.

For those who could benefit from a spirit of generosity, Project Big Love will be held Saturday, July 29, starting at 9AM til 2PM at the Mont Alto fairgrounds off Pa. 997. Free Back to school shoes, free back to school backpacks and school supplies, free haircuts, free Phantom Shadow Kids Zone, Free Lunch, Free Groceries! Children must be present. Rain or Shine.

This weekend’s double-feature at Cumberland Drive-in is “The Emoji Movie” and “War for the Planet of the Apes.” Gates open at 7 PM.  First Feature begins at approximately 9:05 PM.


Rescheduled for August 4th:    Utz Quality Foods will host its 4th annual Utz Summer Bash 10AM – 4PM July 28 outside of the Utz Outlet Store at 861 Carlisle St., Hanover.  This is a FREE event for the public and includes activities and games for all ages.  40+Food Vendors, Face-paintings, free Utz Snacks, Live Entertainment, Balloon animal maker & more.

On July 29, the Annual Hanover Dutch Festival will be held in Hanover from 8AM-4PM.  Delicious foods, handmade crafts and great music.  This event is rain or shine.


At Lake Tobias, July 29 – 30, is a special event Wild Days Weekend.  There will be Photo ops with baby animals and children’s activities from 11AM – 4PM.

The Rockhill Trolley Museum is hosting Daniel Tiger at its Orbisonia-Rockhill Homecoming, a twin small-town community festival.  On Saturday, July 29 from 10AM – 6PM ride a real trolley to visit Daniel Tiger from the PBS popular TV Show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.  Trolley Rides are $10.
