Hagerstown Aviation Museum’s Open Airplane Afternoon | August 20
Hagerstown Regional Airport and the Hagerstown Aviation Museum will be offering a behind-the-scenes look at Hagerstown-built aircraft during Open Airplane Afternoon, Sunday August 20, 1PM–4PM at Hagerstown Regional Airport.
Bring the family out to the Hagerstown Regional Airport to climb aboard and sit in the cockpit of the historic Fairchild C-82 and C-119 Flying Boxcars and PT-26 WWII trainer aircraft.
FREE admission (donations accepted). Museum merchandise, books, DVDs, hats, toys for sale. Free museum aircraft collection poster for all guests.
By making a $100 donation, you can experience the thrill of open cockpit flying. The museum plans to have rides available after 1PM, weather permitting. The rain or shine event takes place at Hagerstown Regional Airport, 18434 Showalter Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
