Civil War Days Harrisburg

Civil War Days in Harrisburg is a community-wide series of events on June 22 – 24 aimed to present and preserve Harrisburg’s Civil War history and heritage.  It is hosted and sponsored by The National Civil War Museum.  There will be a riverboat cruise on the Pride of the Susquehanna, re-enactors, live encampments, expert presentations, narrated tours, and entertainment (including Civil War music and the Victorian Dance Ensemble).

The National Civil War Museum is offering free admission on Saturday, June 23, 9AM – 4PM as part of Community Free Day.   Museum guests will enjoy special presentations, children’s activities and a living history encampment.

The following local attractions will have FREE Admission on Sunday, June 24, 2018:

The State Museum of Pennsylvania

John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion & Museum

• Capitol Preservation Committee Flag Conservation Lab
