$5 Summer Movie Extravaganza at the Capitol Theatre
The Capitol Theater in Chambersburg is hosting $5 movies this Summer. The affordable movies will be held on select Thursdays at 3PM and 7PM beginning May 30 and continuing through August 22, 2019.
A concession stand with popcorn, candy, soda, and water will be open for each movie. There will be beer and wine sold at evening films (no bar at Muppet movie). Tickets, $5, can be purchased at the door.
Here’s the line up of the spectacularly, wild, funky, crazy, fun-filled movies:
May 30: Grease Sing-A-Long version
June 6: When Harry Met Sally
June 20: Bullitt
June 27: Bridesmaids (Ladies Night)
July 11: Jumanji
July 18: Dirty Dancing
August 1: The Muppet Movie
August 8: Pitch Perfect
August 15: Planet of the Apes (the original)
August 22: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
The Capitol Theatre is located at 159 S. Main St., Chambersburg.
