Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club Children’s Fishing Derby

Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club hosts their 2022 Children’s Fishing Derby on April 23 from 8 AM-Noon at Lurgan Township Lions Club in Roxbury.  Registration starts at 7 AM.  All children ages 3 – 15 are welcome to participate in this free event.  Donations are accepted.

Prizes will be awarded for tagged fish caught and turned in before noon.  Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.  Restrooms will be available too.

The rain date is April 30.

Lurgan Township Lions Club is located at 13978 Cumberland Hwy in Roxbury.

Note:  This is a new location this year.  The Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club hosted the event at the Rowe Run creek in the past.
