Sunday Paddle at Doubling Gap Lake

Whether you love to paddle or are interested in trying it for the first time, Colonel Denning State Park in Cumberland County has you covered. You can take a kayak on Sundays in June around Doubling Gap Lake for exercise and relaxation. Plus, it’s FREE!

Sunday Paddle takes place every Sunday in June between 11 AM to 2 PM. Kayak, paddles, and life jackets are all provided – all you need to bring is yourself (and maybe some water to stay hydrated).

Kayaks are limited, so first-come, first-serve. To reserve a kayak for 11 AM, 12 PM, or 1 PM, please call the office at (717) 776-5272, or visit the park office. Otherwise, you can drop by and see if a kayak is available. Kayak use is limited to 1 hour on busy days.
