Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club Children’s Fishing Derby

Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club hosts their Children’s Fishing Derby on Saturday, April 22 from 8 AM-Noon at Lurgan Township Lions Club in Roxbury. Registration starts at 7 AM. Children age 3 – 15 are welcome to participate in this free event. Donations are accepted. Prizes will be awarded for tagged fish caught and turned in before noon. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Each child gets a free hot dog, chips, and a drink.

The rain date is April 29. Lurgan Township Lions Club is at 13978 Cumberland Hwy in Roxbury.
