Newburg’s Rural Life Festival

Spend a day in the past at the annual Rural Life Festival in Newburg on Saturday, July 8th.  The Rural Life Festival is presented by Newburg United Methodist Church, 203 North High Street, Newburg (3 miles from exit 201 of the PA Turnpike).

Admission and parking are FREE for the event, which is held from 9AM – 3PM rain or shine.

Come out and enjoy the following:  Antique Farm Machinery, Antique Displays, Small Engines, Grain Flailing, Working Steam Engine, Grain Thrashing, Horse Drawn Binder, Scrapple Making, Butchering Display, Making Fresh Apple Cider, Bread Baking, Bean Soup made in Black kettle, Horse Wagon Rides, Barrel Train, Children’s Activities, Petting Zoo, Potato Raising, Butter Making, Soap Making, Sheep Shearing, Spinning & Weaving, Hay Press, Crosscut saw, Quilting, Wood Working, Broom Making, Blacksmith, Log Hewing, Sassafras Tea made in black kettle, Music, Inside Auction, and more!
