Wings & Wheels Expo 2017 at Hagerstown Regional Airport
The Wings & Wheels Expo is Saturday, September 9 at Hagerstown Regional Airport.
This is a FREE event and a great opportunity to visit the airport and celebrate Hagerstown’s aviation industry. From 9AM – 4PM, see modern aircraft, classic cars, trucks, RC model aircraft and enjoy live music and food!
- Four Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolts are scheduled to attend, courtesy of the MD Air National Guard.
- Hagerstown Regional Airport Open House.
- The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics display will provide visitors with information about career training opportunities.
- The Civil Air Patrol and other organizations will have exhibits and aircraft on display.
- Radio-controlled (RC) model airplanes will be on display.
- Turbo the Flying Dog will attend along with his children’s books.
- The wheels section of the Expo will include a Cruise-In of antique and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.
- See fire, law enforcement, rescue, construction, historic military and other vehicles, too.
- New Horizons Band will perform at 1PM.
- Plenty of photo-taking opportunities.
- Food and other local vendors.
Hagestown MD Regional Airport is located at 18434 Showalter Road – just a minute off I-81 at Showalter Road, Exit 10A/B.
