Program Schedule at Dibert-Roddick Planetarium, Shippensburg University

The Dibert-Roddick Planetarium on the campus of Shippensburg University released their 2019-2020 public program schedule.  The Planetarium is located in the Franklin Science Center.  Each show begins promptly at 7:30PM.  Adult tickets are just $1.  The children’s ticket price is $.50!

  • October 2, 2019: The Fall Star Show
  • October 23, 2019: The Fall Star Show
  • November 6, 2019: Special Event: The Return of Dr. Armen (Dr. Armen from the Department of Physics presents science demonstrations.  Intended for children and teens.)
  • November 20, 2019: The Fall Children’s Star Show (This show is intended for children five and older.)
  • December 4, 2019: The Winter Sky
  • December 11, 2019: Special Event: Stars (A lecture on the stars found in the night sky.)
  • January 22, 2020: The Winter Sky 
  • February 5, 2020: Special Topic: The Greenhouse Effect (A lecture on the greenhouse effect.)
  • February 26, 2020: The Spring Star Show
  • March 4, 2020: The Spring Star Show
  • March 25, 2020: Special Topic: Jupiter
  • April 8, 2020: The Easter Calendar and the Spring Sky
  • April 29, 2020: The Summer Sky and Constellations
  • May 6, 2020: The Summer Sky and Constellations
