Wildlife Festival coming to Chambersburg

Little Ray’s Wildlife Festivals are bringing fun animal encounters and nature education to communities throughout North America!

The Foundation for Animal Rescue and Education is partnering with Little Ray’s Nature Centres to host a Wildlife Festival on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26 at the former Burlington Coat Factory within The Chambersburg Mall.  Don’t miss the opportunity to see a sloth, alligator, porcupine, armadillo, opossum, giant lizard, giant python, tarantula, and even more wildlife.

This interactive and educational event is open to all ages and kicks off at 10AM with festivities lasting until 5PM.  The event will feature the exhibits, Diversity of Living Things and Animal Ambassador, as well as New York Emmy Award winning TV personality Eric the Reptile Guy.

Animal Presentations (2 interactive 30-minute educational programs that will rotate 15 minutes apart each day)

  • Reptiles and Invertebrates:  10:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:15 a.m., 2:45 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.
  • Mammals:  11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

Organizers recommend allowing two hours to see everything.

Tickets for this family-friendly event are $14.00 per person. After the 4th person in a group, each additional person is $10.  Children 2 and under can attend for free.  Discounted advance tickets are available to purchase online at a savings of $2.50 per ticket.

The Chambersburg Wildlife Festival will open at 9AM on Saturday, January 25 for special needs families to attend in a smaller crowd.  This one hour (9AM – 10AM) is free of charge for anyone who has a family member with special circumstances that may not be able to attend for one reason or another during the regular operating hours.
