Icy Udder at McKinney Station | Newburg, PA

The Newburg countryside is home to the Icy Udder. The newly opened ice cream parlor at McKinney Station serves soft-serve ice cream. Menu items include cups, cones, milkshakes, root beer floats, mud pies, sundaes, and specialty sundaes.

McKinney Station Ice Cream & Farmers Market is located at 17680 Cumberland Hwy, Newburg, the former Johnnie’s Restaurant & Service Station across from the Blue Mountain Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The Icy Udder hours are Tuesday through Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 1 PM to 9 PM (closed Sunday and Monday). Also, about five minutes from the Icy Udder, the Sunflower patch at K’Land Pumpkin Patch & Farmland, 9454 Newburg Rd, Newburg, is in full bloom. Free admission, but donations are accepted to help with the cost of the sunflowers as well as St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. You may stop by the field from sunrise to sunset daily. Photo booths are set up throughout the sunflower patch. There is also a designated area for cutting your own sunflowers.
