Newburg-Hopewell Vol. Fire Company’s To-Go Amish Wedding Meal
UPDATE: Newburg-Hopewell Volunteer Fire Company announced on Facebook that the Amish Wedding meal would be postponed to a later date due to unforeseen circumstances.
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, you can sample what a traditional Amish Wedding meal is like!
The Newburg-Hopewell Volunteer Fire Department will offer a to-go Amish Wedding Meal at the old fire station (106 N. High Street) in Newburg. The meal will include mashed potatoes, filling, chicken, gravy, noodles, creamed celery, coleslaw, a roll, and cake.
The cost for the meal is $12 —cash, check made out to NHFD, or credit card (with a surcharge fee).
The to-go meal will start at 1 PM and go until 5 PM or until it is sold out.
