Old-Fashioned CornFest at the Historic Round Barn | July 24
The annual Old-Fashioned CornFest at the Historic Round Barn will take place on Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 11:30 AM – 4 PM. You will find all your traditional CornFest favorites, sweet corn roasted in the husk over an apple-wood fire, pulled pork made from a secret family recipe, BBQ Chicken, and grilled peaches on a mound of ice cream. The event will also feature live music by Chuck Darwin & The Knuckle Draggers (country, bluegrass, blues, acoustic boot-stomping music) starting at Noon.
The event is free to attend. A Pulled Pork or BBQ Chicken meal will be available for approximately $10. You may also purchase a la carte items, including the grilled peach sundaes.
This annual event takes place on the top floor of the barn. The Round Barn was constructed around a central silo, so be sure to look up at the incredible spoked-skeletal structure of the roof (pictured above).
